ALIGNED Insurance believes that it is a privilege to handle our clients’ insurance needs and that it is our corporate social responsibility to give generously and regularly to support the great work charitable and non profits organizations do every day across Canada.
As part of our commitment to give regularly, every month an ALIGNED Advocate selects a Canadian charity of their choice and ALIGNED makes a donation to that organization on their behalf. In recognition of the great work they do, our President and CEO Andrew Clark has selected Nutrition for Learning for the month of January, 2017.
More About Nutrition for Learning
Registered as a charitable organization since 1997, Nutrition for Learning has been supporting community based nutrition programs which impact the physical, cognitive, behavioural and academic needs of youth. By providing nutritive meal options during the school day, Nutrition for Learning is wholly committed to improving the health and learning capacity of students in the Waterloo Region.

Nutrition for Learning recognizes the correlation between good nutrition and constructive learning experiences. Proper nourishment improves memory, focus and overall performance in the classroom. Nutrition for Learning believes that investing in our communities’ students now will generate positive outcomes in the future, both for students individually and for our community as a whole.

Nutrition for Learning lives out their mission by feeding nearly 20,000 children and youth in the Waterloo Region with the help of over 2,500 volunteers.
